Awards Ceremony
Gaetano Manfredi - Rector of the University of Naples Federico II, will present the ‘Concetta Barra – Isle of Procida Award’ to eight outstanding personalities who have variously distinguished themselves in the field of culture.
The Award Committee, chaired by Massimo Marrelli (University of Naples, Federico II) and composed of Maestro Peppe Barra, Beatrice Alfonzetti (University of Rome La Sapienza), Giulio Baffi (theatre critic), Maurizio de Giovanni (author), Andrea Mazzucchi, Matteo Palumbo, Pasquale Sabbatino and Guido Trombetti (University of Naples Federico II) and by Pier Mario Vescovo (University of Venice Ca’ Foscari), has assigned the Concetta Barra Award for 2018 to:
- Gigi Proietti (theatrical career)
- Marina Confalone (acting)
- Enzo Gragnaniello (music)
- Giovanna Marini (traditional folk music)
- Silvio Perrella (literature)
- Sylvain Bellenger (promotion of cultural heritage)
- Paolo Giullerini (protection of archaeological heritage)
- Rocco Barocco (fashion and design)
